Reporting line
Wireline Senior Operator reports directly to the Wireline Supervisor
Role
Key responsibilities include carrying out Wireline operations in a professional way, to optimize utilization of personnel and equipment resources. Adherence to Health, Environment and Safety regulations shall always be the paramount goals.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out preparation and execution of Wireline work in accordance with approved procedures.
- QHSSE reporting in accordance with Archer’s targets.
- Carrying out preparation of equipment, check that all equipment is in the right place at the right time.
- Report all deviations arising during operations and report these to the Wireline supervisor.
- Responsible for updating valve status form in wireline winch.
- Influence and guide your co-workers to ensure that the Client’s regulations and procedures are always followed.
- Participate in trade-oriented training ordered by the Company and Clients.
- Participate in relevant project work/meetings, courses, and any extra work in connection with this.
- Participate in onshore activities as upgrading of equipment, maintenance and checking of equipment.
Qualifications
Education:
- Competence in accordance with OLF24 Recommended guidelines for competence for Well – and Drilling personnel.
- Craft certificate in Mechanical Wireline or relevant Drilling & Well disciplines
- IWCF certificate level 3.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience performing wireline operations offshore.
- Good IT skills
- English spoken and written
