Archer Brazil currently has an exciting new role for an experienced Project Manager - Engineering. The successful candidate will be aligned with our values by demonstrating that safety and performance is priority, can work well in a team and be enthusiastic and energetic about the work they do.
The Project Manager shall provide strong leadership and motivation to the project team, to accomplish the established project objectives.
Mandatory requirements:
- Master, Bachelor or higher degree within relevant engineering discipline.
- Good knowledge of required industry general awareness – stakeholders, standards, regulations etc.
- Extensive relevant proven experience and success can compensate for formal education.
- 10-15 year’s relevant experience from EPC brownfield projects (preferably within drilling facility).
- Managed project teams with responsibilities from planning, execution and project evaluation.
- Fluent English oral and written.
The key responsibilities of the Project Manager shall include but is not limited to:
- Overall responsibility for the whole project planning and execution.
- Manage day to day operational activities of the project including scope of Work and client interaction.
- Provide professional, ethical and safety leadership focusing on technical, support and mentoring of project team and colleagues.
- Ensure proactive cooperation with support functions and sub-contractors to ensure sufficient and qualified resources available to support the project execution (Finance, Planning, Engineering, Construction, QHSE, Logistic/Procurement etc).
- Determine appropriate budget recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing, and analyse project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Ensure all relevant project reporting is undertaken internal and external reporting requirements and address any issues as appropriate.
- Effectively utilise defined processes related to Scope and management of change VO/VOR, and evaluate alternative business solutions with the client.
- Ensure hands-on management of sub suppliers/contractors to secure procurement budget control and delivery to site of all procured items and services in accordance with Archer procedures and quality standards.
- Any other projects as required and assigned.
