Senior Piping Designer

As part of our growing workload portfolio , Archer are currently looking for a Senior Piping Designer to support with ongoing and future projects.

Archer Engineering has 40-years’ experience in delivering projects from concepts through detail design to construction and commissioning.

As Senior Piping Designer for Engineering UK , you will be working in a growing team of highly competent designers and engineers.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing solutions, production and checking of design deliverables, input to planning and progress reporting and producing detail design estimates and tendering.  

The ability to work in a team environment and be willing to bring enthusiasm is essential. Our future team member should be self-driven, pro-active, enthusiastic team player and have a wide experience in offshore engineering preferably specific to drilling.   

Essential:

• AutoCAD 2D experienced
• AutoCAD 3D modelling experience including use of LFM Server
• Knowledge and experience of offshore drilling facilities
• Awareness of applicable piping and offshore codes & standards
• Competent in the checking of piping deliverables

• HNC/HND engineering
• Knowledge and experience of offshore drilling facilities
• Offshore brownfield survey experience and valid certificates
