Archer Oiltools is looking for ambitious Technical Tool Specialists to join our team onshore in the Workshop. We can offer a good work environment and challenging work tasks within service and maintenance of Archer Oiltools own products.
Role
In this role you will provide operational support for all Archer Oiltools locations.
Key responsibilities
- Dismantle and reassemble Archer Oil Tools equipment in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with work instructions / maintenance manuals
- Perform and comply with repair and maintenance policies and procedures as directed
- Inspect parts / components for wear and necessary repair in accordance with procedures and guidelines
- Approve / disapprove equipment
- Work within different product lines
- Responsible for sustaining 5S ( Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain ) to keep workshop area efficiently organized and equipped with necessary supplies and tools
- Responsible to take good care of Archer Oil Tools equipment and tools
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities
- Testing of new equipment
- Participation in on -call (Duty)
Qualifications
Education:
Skilled worker license as Mechanic or similar
Experience:
Perforable with 3-5 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry

- Positive attitude and ambition
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Good mechanical understanding
- Able to immediately respond to emergency situations
- Strong QHSE focus
- Able to work individual as well as in team
- Fluent English and Norwegian both oral and writing
