This role will have a focus on the UKCS, however, will be internationally minded supporting Archer's growing global Wireline business. The role of the Slickline Operations Coordinator will be to lead and provide planning, operational support, and follow up for the client and the Wireline Project Leader. Duties include:
- Follow up client’s operational expectations and requirements.
- Assist client in planning of operations.
- Prepare/Verify draft invoices based on agreements established in the Wireline contracts.
- Contribute to reduction of downtime and operational halts.
- Participate in developing of cost-efficient solutions on maintenance and purchase of equipment
- When this role become an inhouse role for a client, the client’s specification will be applicable with the specified responsibilities and work tasks as per relevant contract.
- Responsible for optimal utilization of personnel and equipment resources
- Initiate the mobilization of equipment and personnel in cooperation with the client
- Follow up the order / delivery of equipment
- Monitor offshore operations. Report missing or incorrect changes in the operations.
Education
- Technical college/higher education in petroleum related subject. Experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Craft certificate in mechanical Wireline or relevant Drilling & Well disciplines
- IWCF certificate level 4.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience performing wireline operations offshore.
- Must have sufficient operational experience to form a good overview of the phases of the operation, critical factors and safety hazard. Normally this will correspond to offshore experience up to a senior level within the field
- Experienced IT skills
This position will be based in Aberdeen, UK. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of a UK Right to Work check.
