As a Technical Support you will provide support for Archer Oiltools Sales and Operations team with consistent sales support in technical design and proposal production. Maintain and grow the company’s status as the recognized leader with the oil service industry by ensuring that proposals generated by AOT offer innovative solutions of the highest quality.
In this role you will support the Operations & Sales team with solutions for specific well scenarios to maximize our service offering & operational efficiency. With the customers requirements you will continuously work to find smarter solutions, being able to see new sales opportunities and how to combine our products in new, better and cost saving solutions. Taking part in the development of new technology, drawings/sketch procedures and best practices for all applications including customer procedures will be an important part of the role.
Key responsibilities
This role will be required to:
- Participate in tenders and calculating client quotations and technical solutions that meet the tender requirements.
- Liaison with Operations Coordinator to coordinate equipment available for upcoming jobs.
- Develop drawings/sketch, procedures and best practices for all applications including customer procedures.
- Create Customer orders and other required processes using Archers ERP system.
- Create “work order out” document and provide to Workshop Supervisor for shop assembly of equipment.
- Manage and lead the Operational Synergi and investigation process.
- Complete “on call” and weekend administrative duties as required.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with sales, operations, manufacturing, and customer service personnel to ensure rapid turnaround on proposals.
- Prepare After Action Review/Job Completion Reports for customers as required.
- Review and organize all project documentation in the server / Maintain operations folder for all current projects.
- Prepare internal and external DPA’s to support Sales and Operations.
- Attend customer DWOP’s or PROG reviews when required.
- Liaise and share knowledge and experience with other members of the sales team, operations, and other product/technical experts.
- Prepare and deliver Case histories & success stories.
- Assist with offshore duties as required.
- Travel to other regions and company locations as required.

Education and Experience
- University degree or technical graduate or applicable field experience of 3 plus years.
- Knowledge of Microsoft computer software and ability to learn others.
- Offshore and / or rig experience a plus
- Experience in running downhole tools in liners, whipstocks, fishing, sand control or storm / retrievable packers is a plus.
