As an Operation Engineer you will combine your technical knowledge with sales skills
and be a part of a team in constant development. Through continuous work with our customers, you will be working to find smarter solutions and new ways to combine our products for a better and more cost saving delivery.
Through regular customer visits your contact will be with technical, operational staff and procurement predominantly from Oil & Gas operator companies. The role is also responsible for the delivery process from promotion or request to payment of invoice. Together with the team you will attend exhibitions and other sales events, also connecting with both existing and new customers. Communication is a key factor for this role, as well being able to explain the benefits of our products or services to potential customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Generate technical and commercial proposals.
- Plan and follow up well operations.
- Participate in tender process and calculating client quotations.
- Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
- Analyzing costs of sales and determine gross margins.
- Recording and maintaining client contact data and sales activities in relevant system and provide regular revenue forecasts.
Whether you are newly educated with less experience or a senior sales/operations engineer, your way of thinking will be a great asset to our team. You may or may not have experience from downhole or the Oil and Gas industry, but your willingness to learn and develop is highly valued.
Required education:
- Certificate of apprenticeship, engineering degree or higher education within Oil & Gas applications
