We are looking for a new Welding & Brazing Specialist to join our team in the workshop.
This role will be to provide support for the Operation for all Archer Oiltools locations.
Reporting line
As a Welding & Brazing Specialist you will report to Workshop Supervisor.

As a Welding & Brazing Specialist you will report to Workshop Supervisor.
Key responsibilities
- Perform service and maintenance of Oiltools product portfolio according to maintenance manuals and procedures.
- Welding and brazing of equipment, redress, rebuild and new build
- Inspection of equipment returning from field and evaluate status and follow up required
- Ensure stock is updated with correct redress equipment such as carbides, inserts rods etc.
- Ensure gas system is operational and supply requirement of gas is communicated
- Ensure all machinery within area of function is maintained and operational
- Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures
- Preparation of offshore check lists for tools
- Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of Workshop area
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities
- Project work
Qualifications
Education:
- Skilled work license as Welder or Mechanic
- Technical and operational experience
- Being able to use technical skills and experience to the benefits of our products
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Norwegian
